Vijay Raaz who was accused by an assistant of unbecoming conduct, is back in Amit Masurkar’s Sherni. According to sources from the film’s team, Vijay’s presence would be kept very subdued.

“After the scandal last year the producers wanted to replace Vijay Raaz. But since he had a major role that would have meant considerable re-shooting. The producers neither had the budget nor the other actors’ dates to re-shoot,” says a source very close to the project.

So what happens when Vidya Balan is questioned about her zero-tolerance policy towards harassment issues? Simple! Either avoid media interaction or brief the interviewer against bringing up the ‘V’ issue.

Vijay has maintained he is innocent. And perhaps he is innocent. But where are the results of the internal inquiry that the producers had promised? Isn't this the most blatant circumvention of guidelines supporting legal action against workplace harassment?

“Amazon is hoping that potential protests about the accused actor would self-diffuse when the film is released. They have asked the actor to stay away from the media,” a source reveals.
